Coaching for Parents of Children Struggling with: ASD, Anxiety and Depression, School Refusal, Technology Addiction, Family Conflict, Executive Functioning, and More.
Parent Coaching
I take a principally based approach to parent coaching where I teach and coach on important skills and concepts that parents apply across a broad range of situations. I first take time to learn about the family system including parenting styles, medical history and diagnosis, recent family history, family dynamics and more. I work with parents to gain a thorough understanding of what brings them to me and what they are hoping to gain from working with me.

Family Coaching
Family coaching is different than family therapy. While therapy focuses on exploring and processing past experiences, coaching focuses on the future, where participants learn principles, skills, and actionable strategies to achieve happier and healthier families.
I approach family coaching with a mix of teaching and facilitating experiential activities designed to practice what you are learning while engaging in a shared task together. These can be a fun way to learn important lessons as a family. Alternatively, I am also well-versed in supporting families when hard conversations need to happen.
Each session will be 1.5-hours long or 3-hour session in the Climbing Gym
Conducted in your home
Before each in-home session, we will create a strategic plan in parent coaching
